SCSI (1) is an 8-bit wide 5MHz bus, SCSI-2 (re)defines the electrical
specifications, but in its 5 MHz implementation, really (only?) offers enhanced
command queing/ordering and support for a wider variety of devices.
SCSI-2 FAST describes an 8-bit wide 10 MHz SCSI implementation. SCSI-2 FAST
devices will generally co-exist (albeit running slower) with older SCSI(-1)
devices on the same bus. SCSI-2 WIDE FAST may be either 16-bit or 32-bit wide
at 10 MHz and uses differential drivers.
